Next week, Consorcio Serrano visits Mexico to continue with the promotion actions that were foreseen for 2015. The trip will consist of several informative and business activities that will promote our high-quality Serrano ham among professionals in Mexico.
Mexico is one of the markets with the highest growth potential for promoting our product among its population. Spanish tax service export data proves such: over the past year Mexico imported 837 tonnes.
Guadalajara and Mexico City will be two stops on our promotion trip. In both cities, we will hold seminars to teach participants about cured ham tradition in Spain and about different types of cured ham, especially Serrano ham. All of these informative activities will be accompanied by a practical part so that participants can look at and better understand Serrano ham.
What’s more, our marketing and promotion director, Miguel Ángel García, will visit some areas of the market in Guadalajara to network with experts in the sector. He will also meet with Mexican media contacts.
