Madrid, 26 August 2013. The association will have a 40 m2 customised stand at the world’s largest food and drink fair where visitors can taste ConsorcioSerrano cured ham.
By attending the fair, the Consorcio del Jamón Serrano Español aims not only to spread the word about the ConsorcioSerrano seal of approval on the international market, but also strengthen the relationship the Consorcio del Jamón Serrano Español has enjoyed for years with those international importers and/or distributors who have put their trust in the Consorcio’s control and quality methods.
In addition, it seeks to increase knowledge of quality cured Spanish ham by clearly differentiating it from other cured hams in Europe, and strengthen awareness of the ConsorcioSerrano seal of approval to guarantee the genuine cured Spanish ham and promote export of this wonderful product to international markets.
The Consorcio del Jamón Serrano Español will attend the fair at a 40 m2 customised stand in Hall 05.2 Stand nº C053-C051.
It aims to achieve its objective by manning a customised stand, where there will be a visual display showing images of why its seal of approval is different. Everyone visiting the stand will have an opportunity to taste ConsorcioSerrano ham, carved by hand on the spot by a professional carver.
Said to be the largest food and drink fair in the world, ANUGA is a fixture in the schedules of all professionals in the food sector. More than 155,000 experts from over 180 countries went to Cologne in Germany in 2011 to find out first-hand what was on offer. A total of 6,596 companies from 100 countries were spread across 284,000 m2 of exhibition space.
