The IX World Congress of Cured Ham held in Toledo last June, closed its three days of meetings and presentations with two maxims to promote the sector: look for complementary markets to those already saturated in the European Union and activate innovation and development projects to solve the technological deficiencies of the sector.
Once again, the cured hams sector has led to an increase in consumption in foreign markets, specifically 10.20% according to the AEAT, which consolidates the growth trend in Spanish exports of this product.
